Casa Mia

Instead of candles in wine bottles, there is a rose in a bud vase on every table; plain tablecloths instead of red and white checked ones. Those differences notwithstanding, this is the casual but proper, Italian restaurant that promises to become a favorite to be visited often.

A few years ago, Luc Salsedo and his charming wife opened this eponymous restaurant in the quarters vacated by Dominique Nichol with a simple concept-- a menu that changes every ten days, served in a cosy and friendly atmosphere.   He has certainly succeeded.

Millésime 82

...one of the best tables in Nice.  They smartly started small, seating only 16 people.  The menu is also small, with three or four choices in each course, with two fixed price menus--five courses at 50€ and three courses at 32€.
